Turf Auto Sales, as it was originally called, began operation in May of 1986, fueled by the owners' taste for fine cars, hot rods, classics, and of course, good deals. Being one of the only quality used car dealers in the area, Turf Auto has a competitive edge on your normal run-of-the-mill used car dealer. Customer service and satisfaction have always been our top goal and our biggest commitment. Read on to see how we got to where we are today.
After years of top-notch selling in the used car industry, owner Ron Marcus always wanted to specialize in his personal favorites, classics and hot rods. While amassing a collection of previously restored, partly restored, and original classics throughout the 80's and 90's, this dream started to become a reality. With the exception of his personal collection, all the vehicles which were to one day become restored or sold were being stored in a steel barn. While continually adding to this collection, the owner was ever close to bringing these old classics out of storage and changing the business name to Turf Classic Auto. However, one late November night, a call came through that "the barn" was on fire. Local firefighters tried everything they could do to stop the blaze but to no avail. All of the vehicles that had been amassed in the last 20 years were completely destroyed. Even worse news when the building was insured but not the vehicles. Since Ron's entire collection, except for his personal favorites, were lost in the incident, it "sparked" his dream of specializing in antique and classic cars.
So here we are today, offering the area's best prices and no-pressure salesmanship on America's favorite classic cars and trucks. Call us today for more information and availability.
